Join Rabbi Tucker, Ezra and other TIC teens as we head to the sunny West Coast. This 3-day journey immerses participants in the heart of Los Angeles, fostering empathy and social justice through encounters with diverse communities. Participants will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, including those recovering from addiction or incarceration, the unhoused, and the LGBTQ+ community, to break down stereotypes, challenge preconceived notions, and build a more compassionate and inclusive society. Saturday, January 25 (during Shabbat services): Pre-trip blessing on the bimah
Sunday, January 26th- Tuesday, January 28th Tzedek America Trip
Saturday, March 8th (during Shabbat services): Participants speak about their trip at sermon time
Sunday, April 27th, 2:00-3:00pm: Culminating Session Flight Information Sunday, January 26th: American Airlines departing JFK at 8:00 am arriving LAX at 11:29 am Tuesday, January 28th: Delta departing LAX at 1:45 pm and arriving JFK at 10:02 pm
